Bill Younger, Sutter Hill Ventures
Bill is a managing director of Sutter Hill Ventures, a venture capital firm located in Palo Alto and funding primarily technology-based startups.

Bill is chair of the Venture Capital Committee at the Stanford Graduate School of Business Trust and president of the Menlo Atherton High School Foundation. He is past president of the Western Association of Venture Capitalists. Bill has a special interest in helping disadvantaged youth through his involvement with Young Life.

He has a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. Before coming to Sutter Hill Ventures in 1981, Bill worked at Cummins Engine.

Dean Smith, The Highway
Dean Smith serves as the main teaching pastor for the HighWay Community. One of the co-founders, Dean has over 20 years of ministry experience - the 12 most recent of which were invested as Executive Pastor at The HighWay Community’s mother church, First Baptist Church of Los Altos. Dean, his wife Diane, and their three children, Ryan, Matthew, and Courtney, live in Mountain View. Dean likes to watch movies, play golf, and coach youth sports. He also trains the family dog, Betsy, to compete in agility and flyball.

Andy Hartwell, Bayshore Christian Ministries
Bayshore Christian Ministries focuses on helping youth from the city of East Palo Alto and adjoining neighborhood of eastern Menlo Park. (City population of 23,000 with the largest groups of youths being Blacks and recent Mexican immigrants)
